Nest building has begun at the Alligator Farm St. Augustine, Florida
Outstanding shots from a great place to shoot.
Beautiful shots. I remember living for a few weeks in a motel with my mother in St. Augustine florida, probably in late 1945. My dad's navy ship, the LST 521, of which he was an officer, was docked nearby awaiting decomissioning. I still have memories of fear and fascination for the alligator farm. How that old one might relate to what exists today I have no idea. We would walk from the motel past the farm and past the carcass of an old burned out bus, which also caused me concern. Then we would stop to watch the donut making machine in a corner shop window. It automatically stamped out the donuts one at a time from a slab of dough and dropped them into a (I suppose) a vat of frying oil. Early and fascinating automation. I just had to relate these memories, but the real story here is your fantastic photos. Congratulations on your achievements.
