It is a small minority that is saying the election was stolen, it is true that there is a large number of people who feel that they saw many irregularities during the 2020 election and would have wanted to see the DOJ and House and Senate committees put the same efforts into investigating those irregularities that they are putting and have put into Jan 6th.... I really don't think that the American people want to be put through another election cycle that looks anything like what we saw in the last and of course it seems that the only people in changing that potential are at the state level and of course the democrats and the DOJ are suing the crap out of them to stop them from restoring order to the process.
I have to ask, do you really think that a large segment of our society is not accepting of the fact that Biden is president, and that is far different than thinking that Biden is totally inept and should not be the president. Personally I think that most republicans think as I do, there were problems but questioning the election results is nothing but a waste of time, and that enough has come out after the election that it although there were irregularities and certainly some fraud that it is pretty clear that Biden did win.
The issue that you are now bringing to our little discussion has little to do with my comments about a politicized justice system in this country at the federal level.... I can't say that it is off topic even though I suspect that it is because the New York Times is behind a paywall and I don't and won't subscribe so I can't read the linked article.....

I'd comment if I thought you really believed what you post.
