Grandson, 21 years old, a Marine. undergoing chemotherapy for the past almost 3 months. I asked him how he feels after coming back from a week long treatment ... " feel pretty good Granpa"
I was trying to capture what I feel is his outlook of determination. He never complains about anything, I can't even imagine what he goes through even though I see it on a daily basis, he just wants to get back to serving his country.

Please give him my thanks for his service. Then give him a big, long, tight hug from me. I lost my husband to lung cancer courtesy of Agent Orange. A hug to you, too; I know how it feels.
He is in my thoughts and prayers!!!
A very nice photo!!

ONLY another Marine can understand exactly how he feels. They are truly a special breed. God bless the Marines.
A powerful image!
My very best wishes for successful treatment.
Thank you for your service young man...and continue your fight against this cancer and beat it

Wonderful picture. Tree framing the subject works beautifully. Best of luck to both of you.

Prayers for him and the family. I was a Navy corpsman attached with a Marine Battalion for a couple years and would have been willing to go into combat with them.
