I love doing babies, but man, when they are older than 2 weeks old it's really alot more difficult to work with them. Took this little guy three hours to settle down and then he slept for about 10 minutes!

Mary, these are soooooo precious...love 'em!!!
You did an excellent job!!!
Thanks, Rockin Robin! I tell ya, I didn't think the little guy was ever gonna sleep!
Mary, I love these. So precious. I have not tried anything other than wildlife and landscapes. Waiting for my new camera. When I am ready maybe you could give me some advice?
I llove your photo's and if you wouldn't mind, I am expecting my 8th grandchild in January, he has a 1yr old sister, and my daughter has asked me to take some good photo's of the two of them as well as some family ones she is a single mom. Wondering if you could give some pointers since she is asking really good ones. Please
Good advice for baby shots...hmmm... Try to take them in the first two weeks--very important! They stay the way you lay them and sleep during the whole thing--changing of hats and positions--so nice! Shoot down on them, not up on them. Look at what others are doing for clues on what looks good. Ebay for cute hats! Man, there are some great Christmas hats! Tuck the knees under, parellel (under) to the hips to get the butt to stick up--like the hips are over the knees, not behind the knees. Hands up by the face for cute close-ups. The hardest part for me is to remember the lighting while I'm trying to position them. Take your time...

Thank you so much and I have been looking at what others are doing for ideas, I think the hardest part is going to get the 1yr old to co-operate, I have been practicing on her and its a real trip with her, but am sooo enjoying it. Thank you again
