I've been walking this 800 foot driveway almost every day for the last 28 years and it has become very familiar to me. Walking it and looking around as I go gives me a real sense of freedom and blessing.

I grew up in a house on a fifty foot wide lot in the suburbs of Detroit where our driveway was about thirty feet long. I never dreamed of living in a place like this, but I thank the Lord that He has allowed us to raise our family here.

Looks like a beautiful place to live and raise children. I grew up on a farm in Western Maryland with a dirt driveway, but it wasn't nearly that long. Love the photos of the different seasons.

Scrolling through the posts I saw your second post first and I thought it was good. Now that I understand the entire series, KT, this is wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful place to live, and it is obvious that you enjoy it.

I grew up on the family farm where I have lived all my life, save for a year of town apartments for just a year after getting married. There is nowhere like country living. Country roads always take us country folks home.
