I have been in the back ground admiring all your photos for over a year now, thought I'd throw a little of my backyard out there. I love all the the comments & ribbing one gets, it keeps this forum very interesting. It seems like I know some of U allready. The best time to photograph the park is right after a rain, that really brings out the color of the clays. The Rainbow was the 1st day of Spring last year. Here ya go Ace=Hope it works

Its about to get cold over there! I haven't shot the Makoshika in snow in years, maybe you could post some this winter. The lanscapes get VERY eerie sometimes there!

Thanks for Look'n Guys--They usually lock the gates after the 1st snowfall Shooter, the switch-backs get icy, & they don't trust us on the 4-wheelers up there. We might have to much fun!!!!!!

Thanks Woodsliv-actually the Rainbow was the 1st day of Summer, June 21,my mistake. If we get a rainy Spring the park can look pretty green thru the Summer. If not it looks like the rest of the Badlands.
