During our October road trip one of the places we decided to explore was the Wisconsin Dells.....which is done by a tour boat. It was very interesting and perhaps some of you have done this and it might bring back fond memories. It's hard trying to narrow this down to 10 photos. The morning was a little overcast, but it never rained. Enjoy! Bob
1.....Early morning shot from our quiet hotel window and that's probably the boat we plan to be on at 10:30 AM for a 2 hour ride on the Wisconsin River.

2.....The river offers some amazing sights and natural wonders of the Wisconsin Dells area.

4.....Upon standing up & turning around I softly muttered....."SMILE!"

5.....Here's one of two stops where we can get off the boat to explore the surroundings.

9.....This is Stand Rock. See the dog jumping across. They used to use a human, but switched to a dog. It's been going on for years, but a long story as to ....why!

10.....Since this is # 10.......I'll just call it my WOW shot and exit!

Been there many times and it never gets old. That said, I noted that I AM getting old.
Thanks UTMike.......for finding this a "Nice tour!" Trying to trim my selection down to 10 was hard since I probably took 70 pictures! But at least this gives one an idea of what the Dells are all about. We did enjoy the peace and quiet of where we choose to stay for the night. Thanks again, Bob

Thanks AzYooper......for the giggle! Happy to hear from someone whose been there and enjoyed it. It's our 1st visit and we were so happy to have done it. Soooo you're "getting old" are you? Well....that would probably be at least two of us......I add another year come Tuesday (11/16) and will hit the big 80! And why I have continued to keep working full time has me questioning...WHY?

Octogenarians Rule. I have three years on you, (come January). Born and raised in the UP of Michigan, now retired to Arizona, hence... AZYooper. Only regret is that I wish I had the Nikon D850 and current knowledge, when we were still there. Finally sold our lake property there in 2016. Not been back since. Used to hit the Dells every couple of years. Quite an evolution to become today's tourist zoo.

P.S. Happy Birthday. We need more Octogenarians.
