Nice shot Jim, I love these stone walls. I got intrigued by this shot, so I went to GoogleMap and found the exact spot where you took it on the little side road, the image on GoogleMap was from April 2009, still looks very much alike, except the dark pen in your picture was not yet there - and yes, I had a moment of difficulty, the map uses the spelling of Gawthwaite.
