Mark; I thank you and really appreciated your sending these photos. It makes me compare what we see from the old pictures to what we hear from social media today. I prefer to make up my own mind by seeing your photos rather than having someone, who I don't know, interpret what I'm seeing. I believe I am a better judge of history than what the 'turkeys' say on social media.
Very cool, and informative. I wonder what the reaction will be 50-150 years from now to the billions of images that are now captured by cell phone? Will a select few emerge as representative of the lot? I suspect that technology will advance to the point the our .jpegs will be considered antiquated relics, needing some sort of « restoration » themselves.
Most interesting, Mark--I did enjoy, and I will take another look later.
Great look at history, very much enjoyed!

I really enjoyed these Mark. Thank you!
Mark,
Thank you so very much. The photograph of the young girl survivor
of the concentration camp drawing "home" will haunt me for many
years to come. The first photograph showing the group wearing
masks shows that many things have not changed.

That's quite a collection!
His name is Lee Van Cleef, perpetual bad guy in westerns.
Very cool Mark - thanks for sharing!
