Crotch Shot 2

Here are a pair of images that I found after I had posted the first Crotch Shot. ( See that one for the story. ) These two might have been posed by the same lass. The lighting between these two is different but the bod seems to be the same.

Yeh. The first lighting is obviously superior at showing form. It follows the the norm that when lighting people the side facing the camera should be the side in shade.

very interesting shots, there is a famous painting that it reminds me of: L'Origine du monde ("The Origin of the World") is a picture painted in oil on canvas by the French artist Gustave Courbet in 1866. It is a close-up view of the genitals and abdomen of a naked woman, lying on a bed with legs spread. It was considered scandalous and was hidden from view.

Prefer your original post on subject, the tie in was more closely related. Here the glass distance changes the connection. Plus looks like plain glass vs shot glass due to angle and lighting.

Like the lighting in first shot better than the second Jim.

I've never consciously thought about it but that makes total sense. Otherwise what's the point of the shadows if you can't see them!
