I'm sure it's real, but I'm also sure it's a price for gas at an out of the way station where the gas truck has to charge a lot more to deliver the fuel. Out of the way mountain towns, or places like Death Valley might have huge prices like that....
Your lucky,it’s about $6.50 here in the UK and rising .

Sorry, I didn't know that, so how many pints in a US gallon or are your pints different to ours as well please?
They have 8x 16 fluid oz. pints to a gallon. I once thought there was a connection between 16oz. & 16 fl.oz., but apparently not.

I hope you meant £'s. I paid £7.49 imp. gallon yesterday. At that price it's almost worth driving to Gillingham to fill up!
I seem to have cocked up, I run diesel and am paying £7.35 for Shell .

Sometimes, when I read about the cockamamie issues in California, I think that people of logic are in the minority there.

Right now, outside the gate where I live in Walnut Creek, CA premium gas at a Chevron station is $5.09 a gallon. Disgusting.
So, I live in sunny California, and this morning had a copious amount of gas. The price? No one spoke to, or came near me for two hours! (and no, I am not blaming any government official).

Wonder how the pipeline from Canada would have influenced petrol prices had it not been cancelled. Just an odd though passing through the ether.

I’m guessing you didn’t read the multiple posts earlier in the thread on that exact subject…
