Does anyone out there know how the leaf color around Babcock state park in west va is looking this week? Thanks for your info.

You’re right about that. One fall color map shows middle Tennessee where I am at Near Peak, but we are just starting to show some color.

Most states have traffics cams on-line. Often that's handy to see how colors are progressing.

The long link for the "see.cam" seems to show a July 29th image. I could not get an updated image. I would trust the state parks site instead.

I was at Babcock exactly one week ago, and the colors were just beginning to change. I would imagine they are at their peak this week. Here's a shot of the Grist Mill.

Mark Denney, who has a YouTube channel, recently did a post processing video, where he edited that same photo that he took. What a beautiful image.
Almost looks like a Thomas Kincaid painting.
