Up for sale is a Nikon golden oldie prime lens. You can see it has been well loved but is still a great shooter. The lens has no haze, fungus, etc. and the aperture blades are clean and snappy. Mechanically the lens is sound and is still a very good shooter. The bokeh is fantastic! It's built like a tank! It comes with the hood, hood cover, rear cap, CT-303 hard case, extra 39mm insert for gels, case keys, and the original instructions. S/N 311237. The price includes insured shipping via USPS priority mail to CONUS including Alaska and Hawaii. Yours for $750. Personal check, MO, or Paypal if you must. PM to do business. Thanks for looking.

Here is a dumb question, and I think I already know the answer. But will this work on a Nikon z50 with an FTZ adaptor?

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.

Yes, it will. All the FTZ adaptor does is compensate for the difference between the focal plane of a dslr and a mirrorless camera.

I know that AF-S, AF-D and AF-P lenes will, and will atuofocus properly because the have built in focusing motors. The Nikon Z50 dose not have a focus motor and thus needs a lens with it's own focus motor. I guess what I am asking is, does this lens have a built in focus motor?

No, these are screw drive lenses, that require an in camera motor drive to auto focus. You can still use them on a camera without an in body motor but, they will be manual focus only.

This is correct. So just to be clear if you want auto-focus to work your Nikon camera must be a DSLR with an in body screw drive to work the auto-focus.

Thank you for your quick responses. Unfortunately I need a lens that will fully autofocus on my Nikon Z-50. Best of luck with the sale. Although I may still be interested to mount that on my Nikon D7000, which has a built in focus motor. But that is my backup camera. I will keep your lens in mind.

Could you tell the weight of this lens and if still available. I might be interested if it is lighter than my Sigma 120-300 F2.8. I am older and looking to lighten up for shooting football at night. Thanks for any help.
