It kept me preoccupied for a while.
Attached is also an image with mockingbirds (unless I am mistaken).

Good captures especially to get their iridescence showing so well. Alas, our Hummingbird feeder has not been visited in a week so I guess it's time to bring it in for the winter as our little friends must be winging their way south.

Yes, they are gone. I can tell when bees are buzzing around the feeder, they never do it when the hummers are around.

September 29,
I still have many little friends buzzing around my 5 feeders. I count about 20 or so. I've heard that the males have already left and the ones here are juveniles and females. I guess that since I am here in the south and right next to Mexico, I will get to watch them a little longer. I have gone through almost 21 lbs of sugar. I did find out that they prefer bottled water instead of tap...and I don't blame them one bit!

Nice pics of the hummers. I tried photographing a Ruby-throated, and only one pic was worth keeping. The last picture is of two Yellow-billed Cuckoos. I hope they migrate to central Florida. I've never seen one.

Not so fast! I didn’t see any for a week. Next thing I know a number show up at the feeder . . . Polite like. . .one by one. Perhaps they be attracted to the hibiscus which continues to bloom next to the feeder.

Nice captures. I'm lucky, they stay here all year
