This morning I got my Precision Ink I ordered in the mail . My new flushed and modified cartridges for this ink came a couple of days ago where Jose told me to buy them on his video . I reset the chip on the cartridges like the instructions said to do . Watched the video by Jose on how to fill them correctly . Put them in the printer and left for the rest of the day to help at the firemen all day gun raffle . Got home this evening , eat supper , and then ran the printer thru a nozzle check , then ran the head alignment like Jose said to . Did a test print like he said to . Then he had me do a print out using canon print studio thru PS after setting it up to print on luster paper like he showed me , although he said it was his first time using print studio . He mentioned in another video he uses Qimage like I do to do his print outs. Of coarse I did a full 8.5 by 11 photo print out of a old red farmall tractor using canon luster photo paper . Since Red was the only color that wasn't printing out subjects correctly , that is what I wanted to see printed the most with this new ink from Precision ink that Jose said in another video was corrected by Precision with a lot of trial and error to perfect the red color. He also said that canon wised up and fixed their red color for the canon pro 200 .
As the photo was coming out of the printer , my mouth dropped open and I said WOW . I said to myself , now that is the red color of an old red farmall tractor I grew up looking at and running one . I am so glad I switched to Precision Ink . I can't wait to see how all the colors come out , especially the color yellow of a photo of a bright yellow car I took the other week at the fair parade and another bright yellow hot rod I took at the fair parade a couple of years ago .
I took a photo of the old pickup truck that was a beautiful red in the parade that printed out more orange , the print out of the farmall tractor from before using canon ink and the new print out of the farmall tractor to my oldest sister place just up the street . First I showed her the old pick up print out and asked her what color is the pickup , she said orange , and I said the pickup was a beautiful red in the parade . I then showed her the canon ink print out of the old farmall tractor , and she said it looks more reddish orange . Then I handed her the new print out of the farmall tractor using Precision Ink . Her words were , that is differently RED . I said that is what the old farmall tractors I grew up around looked like , not reddish orange . The difference between canon ink and precision ink so far is night and day . At this time , I will say it again . I am glad I switched ....
Glad it worked for you. Have you printed that beautiful truck yet?

I just got back home and I just printed it out using Qimage this time to see if this program prints red out correctly too .
It is now a lot closer to the look on my monitor remembering that photos on your monitor is back lite vs printed photos are lite by reflective light .
I will have to increase the lighting for the photos some before printing like my friend said he has to do for his Canon pro 100 using Precision Ink and
like I have to do using my large HP printer .

I use the Pro 100 & have no problems with the reds using the Canon inks.I imagine your using ICC paper/printer profiles for the paper+pro 100 printer? Anyway, glad all is good.

Glad to hear your happy with canon ink . I tried many different profiles with canon ink . When I used the gloss ll canon paper profile the red truck came out orange , using let printer driver manage color . The red truck came out reddish orange
There is always some items that just don't work like others no matter what us humans make . Some people commented on the 1st posting asking me if my monitor was calibrated after I wrote that both are Benq and calibrated to 100% sRGB and 99% adobe RGB
