How long have they been keeping records? Before that they have no idea what happened. In any case a drought is a local event. And such it proves nothing

Droughts are not local unless you consider a single area of the country local.

The term Climate Change. Is merely a dodge to confuse the average person that climate is the same as global warming. Since global warming has not really been happening and climate change is a natural and constant occurance the change in terminology has been adopted. Global warming is NOT settled science and consensus is not a scientific construct Climate Change is the "proper" term
