I find that this is a very interesting shot with the shadows reinforcing your soft image. I would go with a very mild "painterly" for this shot.
However, I believe that you need to further explore your creative bent with things that repeat, and have converging lines, shaft shadows, colors, contrasts, etc.
You know, Pete Turner-esque? No relation but still interesting . . .

Very interesting pattern.
My first thought was ferns! I like it!
Very nice pattern image. Agree that it should be sharper. Other possibilities could be to enhance the green or a B&W version. Could certainly see it a lobby shot.
This has potential. The repetition, the composition, etc. I think a bit sharper focus throughout and more contrast would bring this to life.

Like the idea, the abstraction, keep at it. But softer than I would like.
I think its an excellent composition. The light and dark tonal contrasts work well together.
I like the patterns and texture.
Magnolia leaves are large and waxy. Looks more like mimosa.

Nice. The leaves are similar to a mimosa tree I planted last year. The alignment and appearance.
