I was rather surprised this morning when I put the flag up & looked at the cactus at the edge of our neighbors yard. There was a blossom. It hadn't shown promise of a new blossom for several weeks. This was shot at ISO 3200, 1/125, f/11. A little contrast & color adjustment, kick up the shadows just a touch, & cropped to about 2/3's of the frame. I'm still using Picasa. Haven't found a real need for anything else.

It had just gotten light enough to shoot without a flash. Earlier in the summer, I could shoot at about 6am. Now it's almost 7am before I can set the ISO under 6400.
