Six in one night earlier this week. I have been fascinated with them. They have to be quite rare. For me it is the delicate colors on those delicate petals that make them so remarkable.
This was at Idianola, Texas on LaVaca Bay. I only noticed the one flower, and it reminded me of a sand dollar.
