My son gave me a manual focus Vivitar 200mm 3.5 that I have not been able to get images that I was happy with.
So today I grabbed my camera, tripod and a few lenses to see how it compared to my other lenses. I used Liveview and enlarged the view to get an accurate focus. I have to say I was surprised with the results and have to blame all earlier failures on me. I was also surprised at the amount of focus breathing in my zoom lenses, I will make another post about that soon.
I'm a Nikon guy, but I LOVE the older lenses, especially some of the oddball ones.

Nice flower! I've been rather impressed with several lenses that never seemed so good until I could actually 'see' the details using the tools of a digital camera to focus.
