Reminded me of an old, old child's limerick:
A wonderful bird is the pelican,
Whose beak can hold more than this belly can.
It can hold in its beak,
Enough food for a week.
But I don't see how in the Hell he can.

Nice set. National Geographic had a great series of underwater photos of pelicans diving for fish about 15 years ago. When they hit the water they open their bill and take in a whole lot of water, sucking the prey fish in with the water. They then squeeze out the excess water, leaving the fish behind.
