"Notice of Expiration"

I get a daily email showing me what's arriving from the post office every day. Today, I'm getting something with "Notice of Expiration" printed on the envelop. I can imagine a future in which people receive notices like that when their time on earth is expiring. "Would you like to renew for another five years?"

Imagine the TV ads and junk mail trying to sell you an extended warranty? Well, I guess we already do that - some of us do have replacement parts!

That is funny! I would be pushing that all the time so I could get more done each day.
There was/is a sign on a nearby post office that always made me smile as I entered.

I signed up for "Informed Delivery" many years ago. I get it on my computer and on my phone. Tells me early every morning what I will receive in my mailbox that day. I think they stopped signing people up for the phone app but it can still be had on the computer...Email or I just go to USPS.com every morning and look. You can still register there.
