Went to the one in New York City last week. If it's the same people. PDN ? It's was a fabulous show. The seminars and key note speakers are not free but well worth the price of the seminar. I like the fact that the manufacturers are there and you can get q real hands on experience. 1 lens. 1 think tank bag, editing program and Printer later. After 3 days I blew the budget. It's worth it! Wish I went last year before I bought my Canon pro 9500 printer.

Not the same. These two are actually annual 3-4 day sales. They do run seminars and bring in manufacturers reps with lots of hands on but it is a sale as well, first and foremost. That does, however, not detract from the quality and quantity of the seminars or the ability to speak to the manufacturers representatives.

I'm surprised at that, MT. I mean with the huge state population, you'd think vendors would be falling all over themselves to get up there and sell. What's the state's population now? It most be almost 100,000, right? :D

Only kidding, MT. I realize that Montana has almost a million people. Compared with the 2.5 million in Brooklyn, you can see why Montana doesn't have many phony online camera stores. :D

I went several years ago. It is a show with some good seminars as well as manufacturers representatives there and a lot of special prices. I don't know about bringing your own equipment as I don't remember seeing anyone there with theirs. The easiest answer to that is call Kenmore Camera and ask them your questions. Their store is in Kenmore Wa.

Hi Victoria,

I've been going these for a couple of years, you really don't need to bring your equipment as most of the sessions are show and tell type of new products. If you have specific questions of the product rep (nikon or canon) for your camera you may want to bring it -

I believe you can actually print out the daily schedules with the description of each session and info on the speakers.

Kenmore does have some good sale prices during the expo...hope you enjoy it.

May go myself on Sunday...
