I hit the trails at Idylwild WMA in Federalsburg, Caroline County, MD. Slaty Skimmers (Libellula incesta) was the dragon du jour. They were everywhere! I wanted to get out to survey the area before this weeks ridiculously hot and humid weather takes over. Here are a few of the critters I came across. I hope you enjoy them.
