My mask slows down or reduces the viruses I cough out. That is the purpose of cloth masks. When everyone wears at least a cloth mask indoors, the likelihood of viral transmission is greatly reduced, if only because fewer viruses are transmitted into the ventilation system. N95 is better, but cloth masks and social distancing, combined with vaccination, reduce the incidence of death or severe illness to very low levels.
This is a medical issue, not a political issue.
Even SC Senator Lindsey Graham is glad he got vaccinated. He caught the virus and has "only mild symptoms."

I just don't understand why many people don't get it, You are right on, it's so simple. Put your hand in the fire, you get burned, ware a fire proof glove, you don't get burned. The vaccine is like a fire proof glove to the vires. Is there no common sense any more?

I got vaccinated, I was talking about the stupid masks that people wear, they are all but useless especially with this new strain.... When masking comes back I will be an obedient little boy and wear my mask, but folks like you are not fooling me.

Really, time will tell how effective the vaccine is, 74% of recent cases in MA were among vaccinated people, Fauci just said that there is little difference in the viral load between the vaccinated and non vaccinated who have contracted the virus.

Sounds like that vaccine is super effective! Not!
There's been around 34 million cases, a little over 600k dead. 98.25% survived without benefit of the vaccine. If it was a truly effective vaccine (like polio or smallpox) he wouldn't have "caught" anything.
