Nice shot especially the bird in flight. A lot of good photos showing up. Hoping you are safe from Sandy not much happened here in Northern Ontario lots of rain only. Here is a few during the Sandy storm.

Thanks capsar, I took the shot at Sandy Ridge Reservation in N. Ridgeville,northeastern Ohio. I live very close to Lake Erie.

Great photo of the American Goldfinches. We occasionally see one in bright plumage but see them mostly in the winter when they are rather dull but still a beautiful bird - Thanks for sharing.

I had a lady "Flip me the bird" yesterday because I wasn't moving as fast as she wanted! If she had gotten off the phone long enough there were plenty of places to pass! But here is my bird flip!

AnnieJ, Iam jealous! I have been trying all summer to get a kingfisher. Had one land in front of me but by the time I got my camera up to shopot it was gone!
