Just a word of advice, I've received 3 calls suppose ably from PCH saying I've won a million dollars. Their spiel sounds reasonable till they say you've got to pay around $500 for transfer taxes. A closer look at the I.D. and telephone number shows the call is from an 876 area code which is Kingston Jamaica. Spread the word and be careful. Oh on another robo and spam call, do what I do , answer in German , "Guden Morgen, Spricten De Dorsch" then say "nein Nein" and hang up.

Love it! I do not answer my phone anymore unless I recognize the number. I let it go to VM. If it’s from a Robo caller, I then block the number.

I like the responsive robo-calls. They ask how are you doing.
If you say "okay", they respond with "That's good.".
If you say lousy, they respond "Sorry to hear that.".
I answer something like "Glicknarf foodal norf."
Then there is a pause.... while it "thinks".
They don't know what to respond.....

If he doesn't have Caller ID, like me, .......
Besides, Caller ID can be spoofed, making it worthless in many cases.

The robo callers are getting smarter. I have a robo call blocker on my phone but occasionally will answer it if I am near the phone. Now I frequently get a call form an extended car warranty service where the lady identifies where she is calling from and askes if I can hear her. They are looking for a live person so instead of saying yes I ask is this a live person? She responds OK and continues her spiel and soon will again ask if I can hear her. By now I know it's a recording and will tell her to go do something to herself. Apparently she is not programed to recognize that phrase or she actually laid the phone down and is doing it.

If I mistakenly answer a robocall that's asking for money I ask them to give me their bank routing and account numbers so I can transfer the money to them. You can expect an immediate hang up.
