Brush Turkey, scrub Turkey, they are not only ugly but also very territorial. Should one male occupy your yard, hold on for a wild ride. They will re-arrange the landscape by building a mound out of whatever is available, attract the females and lay their eggs in the mound till they hatch.
The worst part, they will come back every year and ruin your yard, each and every time. Good pics, but hope it wasn't in your yard....
Ahh, you're familiar with them Blue's Man. Thanks - no, not in my yard, in a nature reserve :)
