I just got a Nikon 18-140. I know lots of folks own or used to own this lens…since it has been around for awhile. I have avoided buying this lens for other choices until now.

For anyone who might care the reasons I bought it are that it is on Thom Hogan’s list of recommended Nikon DX lenses, with the longest reach of lenses starting at 18mm on the wide end…..it is fairly light…..and it cost less than $200 from KEH.

It may be my Goldilocks lens for handheld landscapes and flowers.

I took these at Vines Park in Georgia on a Nikon D5500.

I also own that lens too. Your picture of the bee is pristine. Its a great walk-around lens and pretty versatile.

That lens has mostly lived on my Nikon for the last few years. Have a 55-300 when a little longer reach is needed. Those are nice shots you took there. Hope you enjoy your new lens.
