Per this morning's Washington Examiner (a conservative newspaper), "

Then why did the WSJ report this morning that 1 million illegals had crossed into the U.S. since just January?

Apparently, the Washington Examiner and the Wall Street Journal are reporting fake news... or at least one of them is.
PS: I provided a link to my statement, do you have one for yours?
WAIT A SECOND:I just looked it up and this is what the WSJ actually posted:
Arrests at U.S.-Mexico Border This Year Top One MillionThat's a BIG difference from what you said. Actually, you have painted Biden's administration in a favorable light. They have been actively stopping migrants from crossing. That is a pretty bad attempt at disinformation.
The WSJ and Customs and Border Control make reliable, provable statements. What the hell is "truenewshub"? Do you really think they are a reliable source of news?

I don't understand your objection. Facts are facts no matter the source. Here is the WSJ reporting the facts. Satisfied?

ARRESTED at the border. By saying that they had crossed the border when, in fact, they were arrested is completely misleading. Only 61,000 or so have actually CROSSED the border versus the 1,000,000 that have been arrested.

Let's settle this now, The Border Patrol has intercepted almost 200,000 migrants, of that only 61,000 were admitted. the problem with the disagreement is that some folks think the B.P. is batting 1000, my guess is that they are batting below 500.

How many of those 1 million do you think was arrested in Mexico? US Customs/Border Patrol can't arrest anyone until they have crossed the border.

The date of your article is MAY 19th, over 60 freaking days ago.

Hey ISO, the article was dated yesterday, July 23rd! Where the hell did you come up with May 19th? Good God man, don't you even read before you spew or do you just want to lie to diminish an unpleasant truth?
As to the rest of you, you can complain to the WSJ, Washington Examiner and the government Border Patrol agency about their reports / articles. I didn't "make up" the numbers, the links are there - you can check it out for yourselves.
This is so freakin' typical of trump supporters; you don't like what you see so it must be a lie. Trump did you guys a terrible disservice - he allowed you to believe that lying is an acceptable form of rebuttal. So now, even your conservative papers as in the WSJ and Washington Examiner are "fake news"! If it wasn't so damned awful for our country, your efforts to dismiss the truth would be funny. No wonder the country is in its sunset years. It is a terrible thing to bear witness to one of humanity's greatest governmental concepts come crashing down in a flaming self destruction. We have become our own worst enemy.

That's a fair point. All we have discussed is what the Border Patrol has intercepted, not what has escaped their detection. However, according to reliable sources (i.e. the WSJ and the government itself), only 61,000 have been admitted Biden administration-to-date.

I'm not sure I understand your point. As far as the articles and reports say, they were arrested at the border as they attempted to gain entry. However, I have to wonder just what is meant by "arrested". Does it mean our jails have swollen by an additional 1,000,000 people or is it that they were refused entry and pushed back into Mexico? I wish the articles and report were more specific but that is what is printed. I had hoped that the news would have been accrpted given that both papers are considered conservative and the Border Patrol would have been equally reliable.

So, the WSJ, Washington Examiner and the Border Patrol are not privy to your information sources. Is that what you are saying? I'm not making this stuff up, I am giving links to the substantiation of my posts. Please post your links that demonstrate the WSJ, Washington Examiner and the Border Patrol are wrong.
