Really nice series. All are tack sharp in DDL, except the 1st one. There is a very little blur on the Marmot's face in that one.
But, all the rest are exceptional in color and detail.

Superb set of very sharp and clear photos. The marmot sure was posing nicely for you.

I will have an RF 100-500mm to go with my R5 shortly. Anxiously awaiting shipment on the backordered lens. I have one on order from B&H and one from Canon for about 2 months, waiting on the first to ship. Hopefully they don't both ship the same day so I can cancel one.

The Marmot, up close and personal! I must say the Canon R5 and 100-500 lens makes it look like I am much closer than I am!
So if you look at the download on these the sharpness is great! I had been having trouble and I was not happy with many of my bear, wolf, coyote etc. photos from Yellowstone. Maybe I was expecting too much with the crop and the distance?

Cute critter! IMHO the last image is the winner in terms of POV and composition. However, they all have a warm fuzziness (feeling, not focus!) that is quite appealing!

Wow, great series, great lens. That lens is so sharp that in DDL I could count the fleas on that little critter

Thanks! I was happy with these results!

Great Photos. Nice and Sharp.

We have regular ground hogs here. I shot one yesterday with my Ruger.

These are very sharp, Beth. They are really cute little critters. There are no marmots in Florida.
