Nice soft colors. Wonderful capture at a great time of the day.
I would like to see the shore line lower and in this case the removal of the shore in the foreground. Have attached an example that you might find interesting.
Hi dglas, nice picture, but could you tell us what camera, lens and settings you used. This would help the experts in helping you. I'm not an expert but would like to know for my own info. Where was this shot taken? Looks like houses at the end of this lake/pond...great place to live...thanks for the post.
What a mood shot, great color rendition and although it breaks the rule of thirds in this case, who cares, its a great picture and I would have been proud to have been the author. Ian
Thanks all for the nice comments. much appreciated.
JONSUND -- I do like the crop. I had considered this crop but wanted to preserve the look of the reflected sky. I felt it gave better overall balance.
In4jc -- Nikon D300 18-200 3.5 lens. Condensed details. 2 photos - both 18 mm f20 - with 13 stops of ND filters (10+3). 1st photo 8 minutes - 2nd photo 2 minutes. Combined in Photomatix. Minor tweaks in PS.
