I will try our sob story. My dad died of dementia last year. We found TONS of photos he ripped up -no reason why. Anyway there was a picture I found of dad with my brother which is wonderful. I would like to get it fixed and give to my brother as a gift. I have NO photoshop/lightroom skills. It is in 4 pieces pretty cleanly tore. Can someone stitch it for me? I can only afford a small amount to pay someone. Can someone help? Thanks. Brenda

Brenda, I'll be happy to try and help you with this. Here's a couple of examples of what I can do. The first one was published in a book on photo retrouching and restoration.

If you do decide to let me help you, we can discuss how to scan the photo(s) etc.

Brenda, I’m in Erie, CO and have some experience with restoring old photographs if the previous poster doesn’t work for you, I'd be happy to give it a shot.

It is wonderful to see the responses to the OP and the offers to assist in restoring the cherished image.

And for the examples posted, amazing work restoring the images.

I have been known to fix bad pics but I cannot match the examples I saw here. You look like you have some good choices.

Two comments: (1) your work is amazing--especially of the sailor; and (2) you are a truly good Samaritan to offer your assistance. On behalf of us all, thank you.
