Beauty for sure. A pano? Thanks for sharing. How hot there?
Yes, a pano. Ten exposures merged. Temps in upper 80's around sun up; noticed it was 106 in the afternoon.
That's one sweet photo. Grabs my soul.
great shot and processing.
Just a normal shot from you; absolutely stunning.
I that your insanely early hours were just an attempt to not be turned away at the entrance because the park was full.
I'm glad you included download. The detail is phenomenal. I know the sun is the brightest and the rock formation on the right is fighting it for center of interest but that does not bother me in the least. You really pushed the latitude of the sensor. Excellent photo.

There's a webcam located at the Entrance Station at Arches; on line and accessible by any and all. Its particularly handy, both to see what the traffic looks like and to get a broader, more distant view (of the sky especially, which'll determine which way I go) looking down Moab valley, and it refreshes every five minutes. These days --and this year in particular-- I automatically
know not to bother trying to enter the park during certain hours because the webcam will show both entrance lanes backed up further than I can see. But if for some reason I'm determined, I enter by way of one or another of the routes (4WD or grossly washboarded dirt), and those have their own rewards. When I worked there (in the 90's), the only time traffic would be backed up as badly would be on or around Easter weekend. Now its an everyday occurrence. And yes, there are a couple of bright orange signs at the Fee Booths that get stood up when its crazy, and they say, "The Park Is Full." Zipped right in at 4am, though. Still, you should've seen the inbound traffic when I was leaving around 7am. Sheesh!
You certainly caught the light at the right time...........love the image. Bev

Great sunset clouds and I like that tree.
What an amazing image, especially in the DL. Most certainly worth getting up super early for
