at first I liked the way it came out. Then the more I looked at it I felt like I over did it on the edits. I don`t hate it, I like the grass in the foreground. To me it gives it depth.
I`d appreciate your thoughts. I am still trying to navigate lightroom, I have a general understanding.

The dirt does look a little odd.
But I don't know what the dirt looked like to begin with.

I like them both. I think the second is the original. The first looks l8ke the sun came out.

The first is the most attractive and engaging .....realistic or not - IMO.

No.

Weather or not you over did it has absolutely nothing to do with the appearance of the original shot. IMHO never post the original shot.

I believe the issue here is hue correction. One is too "red" the other is lacking something. I took the liberty to compensate for the hue in the first photo and adjusted it. The results fall somewhere between the two you posted.

That does look better Bob. I was trying to be a little creative and work with those new color grading balls. Thanks for your input

Thanks, Keeth. When it comes to processing photos, it's a bit like cooking. If you can taste the spice, there's too much.

Somewhere between the two would be ideal. IMHO.

I like it, keeth. Another spin on the expression "Punch it!"
