Hello I have recently purchase a new speedlight flash 600 ex II-RT. I am having issue installing this to my T2I rebel camera. Is this compatibility to use with this camera? Thanks in advance for a quick feedback.

It should just slide onto the hot shoe.
Make sure the lock is loose before mounting and flash is off.
From there when you turn it on the camera and flash will communicate and just put on P and shoot.
If contacts are dirty they might need cleaning.
Other than that there should be no problem.
It works will ALL EOS cameras.
For some odd reason it is not sliding on the mount. Here is a picture of the bottom of the flash and top part of T2I. I have remove the rubber piece of the bottom.

Not sure.
Canon says it is 100% compatible with your camera.
You should not take things apart though.
Is this used or new?
I have both the T2i and EX600-RT and I can assure you, they will mate without issue. Just make sure the lever at the bottom of the speedlight is to the far left. I suspect you have the lever in a lock or partial lock position. It won't slide into the hot shoe otherwise. There should be a small gap in between the plate and the body of the speedlight in the unlocked position. Once it's locked the plate is pulled towards the body of the speedlight.
Is the flash shoe in the locked position prior to putting in onto the hot shoe of your camera? There is a dial that turns to tighten and loosen it to the hot shoe.
It slides on from the rear to the front.
Do you have a shoe cover on the hot shoe on top of the camera?
I have it unlock, it is difficult to slide in the grey tray to. I have the 600 ex-rt II. Will that make a difference?
I have both, I was trying to use the hot shot.
On your pics looks like your hot shoe is missing something. I can be wrong....look my pics - my is Nikon but it s the same way how you slide the flash in the hot shoe
I figure out the hot shoe was bent, that why I could not get it to slide it in. I had someone locally to fit it. Thanks again for your feedback.
