If you like the Testarossa, you would probably love the original, the Testa Rossa, first produced in ‘57, with the wonderful Colombo V12, and gorgeous bodywork, with the pontoon fenders.

Thank you very very much Frank.

Very nice. The only problem with your having posted these shots is that now I have to clean the drool off my keyboard. Oh, well--I probably couldn't even get into one any more. My body does not bend in all the places is used to.

Great set, Mike; I'll see if I can get $750,000 together.

I bought one in the 80s, was a 60s era car, V12, paid about $12,000 as I recall; driving in town meant changing sparkplugs everyday unless you drove in first gear all the time, they have to have revs! It was fun to drive on the open road, sold it just before I got killed in it! Wish I had it now but at 83 I couldn't do it justice. Bet it's worth over a hundred thousand bucks now. I drive a JaguarXJS now, it's a little milder!
