I wondered if anyone would like to flip me a bird. So I started this. I now stand humbled at the work you all do.
This has truly set me aback and I hope I can at least amuse you when I flip a bird back to you.

I took that with my Olympus SP-800 UZ point and shoot. I guess you could say its a bridge camera, but it doesn't offer manual settings as far as aperture or shutter speed. It does have a 30x wide optical zoom lens. I was about 20 feet away when I took this pic. This camera can take excellent pictures in some circumstances and in other circumstances well we can blame me and say I just never mastered using it....i.e. low light situations. The camera's lens is 4.9-147mm/f2.8-f5.6.

I am an Oly fan also. I started with a C8080 and worked my way up the E series until I reached the E3,e5 and E30. I love the old glass and have a fair (20+) collection of OM mountlenses from 25mm to 500mm. I don't have many of the digital lenses. Just the 14-42, 40-150, 9-18, 14-54, 14,54, 70-300,50-200, and a 1.4x teleconverter. As you can now tell I am a bit of a dinosaur so forgive some of my posts. I even use antique tripods.

I used the zoom lens on my Olympus sp 810 uz camera. The ISO for the humming bird shots was 200 & 160. F STOP 5.3 & shutter speed at 1/320 sec.

NO WAY! What are the chances that we would have used almost the same camera, lol. Very impressive captures you have there. Does the 810 come with manual settings for the aperature and SS?

My settings were ISO 200 117mm f5.1 and 1/400.

I've always been curious about the Olympus E series.

Sounds like you have quite the collections!
