OK The tax laws are " un fair". Why is it "fair" that 50% of the working public pay NO federal income tax? Is paying over 50% of your income in taxes fair? And BTW billionaires do not have billions in income. Their billions are net worth NOT income

A little documentation for your 50% claim? Put up or shut up!

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have returned to the tradition of releasing their tax returns, unlike Donald Trump. The Bidens paid $157,414 in taxes for 2020. Vice President Harris and her husband paid $621,893 in taxes. Trump refused to release his tax return, but it was obtained by The New York Times and he paid a whopping $750 in taxes for each of his first two years in office. Responsible people of character who love their country pay their fair share of taxes to support the United States of America.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harr... (show quote)

Which would you rather pay in taxes, thousands or $750.00?
If given the choice, I would bet you and most persons would take the $750.00!

President Trump is but one man. How odd that you on the lying corrupt Left decide to choose out just one man to vent your anger over taxes while another poster rightly pointed out that close to 50% of Americans pay not one penny toward taxes. Yet you choose Trump.

You point out that the Biden and the Harris family paid so much in taxes yet do not consider they took advantage of every single tax loop hole known to mankind. You seem to base everything on taxes paid regarding morality while forgetting the very possibly true allegations against Biden and Harris because it suits your agenda.

Why not take a look into the relationship between Hunter Biden and his pornographic photos on his computer? If that was one of the Trump children you would be all over it. But since it is a Democrat you look the other way. How about allegations of Joe Biden using his influence to stop Hunter Biden from being prosecuted over his illegally purchasing a handgun? How about Biden's influence to even get Hunter jobs in Ukraine and China, jobs for which he had absolutely no experience yet was paid millions. Think about it, oh yeah, happens all the time. Any American can go to Ukraine and China and get a job worth millions of dollars just for the asking, without having a VP and now POTUS for a dad. RIGHT!!!

You do realize Trump is not the POTUS any longer don't you? Is this the, Whataboutitism, I was asked yesterday from one of your side? Perhaps you and yours should be concentrating on the fox in the henhouse right now. It appears Biden isn't doing well for America yet you cheer him on. Amazing.

Dennis

In the near future, he won't need a salary either as the state of New York will provide 3 meals and a cot at one of their finer institutions in Otisville.

not gonna happen, scared frank, but I bet you are familiar with institutional life!!!

In Trump's case money generates smarm, dishonesty and greed.

Biden paid only $162,000 in Fed. Income Tax. And he took a $4,000 refund check back. Biden's effective income tax rate was 25.9%. Yet he says millionaires should pay their fare share. Donald Trump donated his entire salary as president for four years.

His 'official' estimated net worth as of last year was $9 million on a government civil servant's salary. He owns 3 homes (That could be considered mansions). By going into govt. service he has done a lot for himself. Maybe someone could tell us what has he accomplished for the country.

It is weird that so many people believe Trump is an honest man. It is such a biased-driven fantasy.

You know very well that $750 for two years in a row is a deferred filing fee and not his taxes for two years in a row, unless you have the morals and dementia of Biden. You are the one constantly deflecting back to your self-serving vindictive hatred for the man. Do you think you are being virtuous by wanting everyone to buy into your hatred?

You do not get the difference between asset appreciation and income. Asset appreciation only becomes income when you sell the asset. And it is taxed at the long term capital gains rate.
