I was stationed outside of Bangor in my Air Force tour. Survived the blizzard of '63 12-foot drifts subzero temps. Visited Maine friends several times. Plan to go back again.
I spent my Air Force career in Germany and in Kansas amongst other duty stations. Plenty of snow and cold!
