Nicely done Keni. You've got this light using down pat. I, of course, like the shadowed dimness

Beautiful and Tranquil... great manipulation of the ground cover colors quiet dark in front then bright as the ground cover approaches the dear. This is a pleasant Child's Storybook page.

But sad to say, my memory is forever marred by the 1969 short film clip by Marv Newland's...
Bambi Meets Godzilla

Thank you Don. I wanted the focus on the flowers and the deer juxtaposed to the dark towering trees. Having grown up in a hunting family I prefer this version of Bambi.

Keni, this is magical! I felt like I was in that mighty forest and just looked up and saw that beautiful deer. Very well done!

Thanks Carol. I took the shot of the trees knowing I was going to do a composite with it and who can resist capturing a deer in the wild.

Nicely done. I think the composite works well.

Thank you Frank. I was concerned the flowers were not the right perspective in the midground but I think the deer helps that.

Much appreciated Bev. I always try to imagine where the light is coming from and where the shadows would be.

Jack I do like a dramatic dark image as well. It speaks to my soul but with the darkness there is light as well.
