I know, I know, the purists among us will cringe. So if that's you, don't bother, just scroll on by. These are all heavily manipulated photographs shot by me and altered... by me. While they may be heavily altered, these are actual photographs of real places and things. In other words, all of the graffiti is real, the spider was a living subject, etc., etc. I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for the kind words. I truly enjoy all of it.. capture, post, manipulation. I see it all as art and all of it as creative opportunity. I enjoy creating faithful reproductions as well as grand illusions.

Those are great. Yes, highly manipulated. I have done some mightily graphic art like finished photos myself on occasion. My regular work flow is to a pretty standard natural "film-like" image, but occasionally I find an image that begs for experimentation and I'll go wild with one to several digital filters. I don't clone in additional images much.

I especially appreciate your first and last images as they look like something I can figure out how you did it. They are all really interesting. Some might want to argue about where photography ends and graphic design starts. But I will not argue that here. Good Work.

Manipulated images are most definitely my thing. These are wonderful, each very creative, and each manipulation suiting the subject excellently. Great job!!!

I'm glad you found them enjoyable, and thanks for the heads up! I took a quick look and you are correct; I find some of it quite interesting. Especially the series on using a laptop and CP filter.

Were they all altered using the same software? If so, what program?

I was not a big fan of over cooked images. But, the more processing I do, I have learned that some images do benefit from from the process. The trick seems to be knowing how far to go, and when to quit.

Now, can you definitely that fine line?
