I really enjoy all of your pictures and their superb quality
and composition.

The fox pictures are especially enjoyable. The "family"
shots are heart warming. My wife and I watch all of
the Nature presentations on PBS. I envy the beautiful
part of this wonderful country in which you live.

How far are the dens from your home?

Fine set of fox photos and a message about not feeding wild animals! Thanks for sharing.

I have 2 dens I watch. Last week we got some snow, and I saw these babies for the first time.
Unfortunately that is not a stick the parent has, but a dog treat of some sort. I was told some neighbors nearby feed it.... So now the babies will like dog treats. Good news, they did bring regular fox food too!
This was very low light, early morning and snowing.

Another great set of images. Looks like mama brought home the bacon or in this case a doggie treat and a rodent.

Fantastic images!!!!!Beth
These people think they are helping the wild animals by feeding them, but they can be creating monsters, some animals will tear things up looking for food if it is not in sight.

It is about 5 miles or so. On private property, but I share the photos, so the owners are ok with me!

More excellent photos, and I get what you're saying about the neighbors; they shouldn't be providing goodies. Around here lots of people feed the deer, who don't need to be fed, and this puts the deer in danger as they cross fast highways. People like having deer in their yards but then they freak out when mountain lions are attracted...it's best to leave nature to itself.
