Beautiful capture, Frank! (But I am afraid of what I might see coming out of that fog after you are through with it)

Nice . Moody . Being OCD I myself would have cropped out branch in upper right corner , backed up a bit so as to show more of water on botto, pepped up contrast, and made colour a bit bluer . But thats me . Great mood .

Thanks for your thoughts. I did knock out some of the branch. I guess I could have taken all of it out. The water is actually just a left over from the town dating and flooding the field for the kids to play hockey during the winter. Another week or so all it would be all gone. Usually I would go on the blue side but not this time.

Nice shot but I think there's too much foreground.

Thanks, you maybe right, but I intentionally went to the corner to have the water spread out. To take advantage of the wide angle lens I had on the camera.

I thought that your fog pic had so, so many wonderful possibilities for many different interpretations.

SinceI don't get out much with my camera anymore... and having always enjoyed post processing more than actually taking pictures.... and having just today watched Anthony Morganti's short video about the using the Orton Effect. I saw your shot and thought I would take the liberty of using it, plus other of my favorite edits to show how I (and I alone) see your photo... especially since is a fog shot.

Yours is a great photo.

Barry

I will have to view his presentation on the Orton Effect. With fog shots like many other landscape images, I think the possibilities are endless. Seems the effect works well with fog.
