Don't forget that that video was stationary and much like a still shot, didn't show depth. In that sense cameras can lie. That being said, the verdict was still probably just for other reasons.

PolitiFact has a post today on the truth of some of the allegations about the Floyd affair. One thing I read early on was the medical examiner did detect Fentanyl but also its metabolism products - the relative amounts of the teo enable a timeline on initial ingestion.
