I've both sold and purchased here from fellow members. Transactions always good. In fact, I've just received a purchase, and the transaction was excellent. In fact, the seller did such an outstanding job in the packing and shipping.
However, I've been 'trying' to make another purchase, from a fellow member here. The communications have been going on for more than two weeks. Unanswered questions, as in 'how do you wish to ship?', and I still can't get an answer.
Have others of you had similar experiences?
Bad vibes on that. Drop them.
Thank you for your opinion. I've been thinking the same thing.

I recently made a purchase from a fellow member and the experience was excellent. Item was well packed, shipped promptly and exactly as described.
There is going to be one rotten apple in every barrel. I think you just happened to find one. My advice: drop it and look elsewhere.
Have bought and sold only several times here. The only snag encountered was an unresponsive seller. I simply quit trying.
When things are not going right, that is advice in and of itself ... advice telling you to bail.
Thank you for your opinion. I wish there were a way to help fellow members here from the time wasted by this member, but I don't really want to begin 'slinging mud' on here.

Not sure, but do think I recall your attempted transaction.
IIRC you hung in there longer than I ever would have.
Thank you for your opinion.

It happens.... and speaking as one who has taken a major hit (not on UHH), my advice is simple, “walk away.”
Give the seller a clear deadline to respond to your inquires, or you will look elsewhere. Four days would be fair I think. If the seller fails to answer, then assume the seller is not serious about making the sale.
My instinct suggest this is not really a sale on here, but rather a person who wanted PayPal funds sent on a promise to ship a product.
Everyone needs to be extremely careful.
Reading the original post is don't understand why you let it go on for as long as you did.
With a non responsive seller the best thing is to "quietly' walk away.
