Hahaha. You know thread title means nothing here at UHH.
This thread should just stay the permanent “DSLR v mirrorless plus whatever else” thread.
We each have three tools at our disposal: desire, effort and a camera. Shouldn't you buy a mirrorless Canon?

Give up my Nikon DSLR for a Canon mirrorless? Cows will rain from the sky first.

The fact that the trees were plumb doesn't mean that is what there were in reality. Maybe they should have been leaning. The level is a tool like any other, you have to know when and how to use it. My original post on this was simply to point out that they are not unique to mirrorless cameras.
The thread title is:
Is mirrorless really better thand DSLR?
----
Answering that aspect very directly:
When using the built in level, the SLR is far less convenient.
“We now return you to our regular off-topic program already in progress.”
Artists are just children who don't worry about mirrors.

And the codswallop continues....
This thread is pretty much a waste of time, what are you arguing about the use of an optical v an electronic viewfinder? IBIS, Pentax has this built in for decades on every DSLR they have made.. levels are in the viewfinder if you want them. The main difference really is battery life you are using more battery not taking photographs with mirrorless cameras.
To be fair its the photograph that matters not the technology used to get it so use what you have. Whats more important is using the right lens with the best focal length for your photo. If you are cropping a lot it's probably not the ideal lens. Even 8 Megapixels can be enough if you are using the entire frame, 50 megapixels will let you crop in and get the photo you didn't take...
Don't talk do, and stop leaning on technology as a crutch for your failings as a photographer. Practice, practice, practice. The camera doesn't have the capability to compose the shot, thats your part, work on that.
Beauty is everywhere when you have a mirrorless camera.

For some, beauty is everywhere when they have any camera.

True. But often those with a mirrorless are more likely to capture that beauty for eternity.
