Here's an image of the Southern California lifestyle. Another hogger and I went to San Onofre early in the morning well before the sunrise. This spot is less than 1/2 mile up the beach from the SO nuclear power plant, now shut down. It was a cool but very beautiful morning. This image is SOOC and was taken before sunrise and needs a little work to bring out its potential. I'm interested in the different views from all of you. Hope you enjoy the scene and have fun with your edits.

San Onofre State Beach: my view
Nice shot. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for a nice day at the beach.
.
Here is my Final version. I had one done with everything a bright sunny day removing the blue cast on the van and cars but then I thought to change the sky and the mood for and evening shot keeping the darks and lights similar to SalvageDivers original, although it might be a early morning shot?
I give R.G. a lot of credit for opening up the picture, removing the blue cast by the cars awhile being able to see the surfer out of the shadows👍

Wow, this idea I never even envisioned. This immediately reminded me of the posters used to advertise the famous surfing movie, "The Endless Summer". Nice work!

I really like the amount of detail you were able to restore from this image. The camera underexposed this image because of the specular reflection off the water. My eyes saw all the details you extracted in your edit that I failed to capture adequately SOOC. You demonstrate there's still a lot of info that can be teased out of a jpeg. Nice edit.
Nice scene. Here's my take...
Using Affinity Photo I grabbed the MilkyWay from Unsplash. Normally I prefer using one of my sky's rather than someone else's but I have no pics of the Milkyway and this pic said Milkyway to me, I had to listen. The Milkyway's photographer name is Tbel Abuseridze. I spent a lot more time than expected fooling with colors and brightness and all that. I have a lot of versions of this one, finally just had to pick one or I'd be editing forever.
Nice image to work on Mike - here's my view
Here is my view. Thanks for a fun image to work with. Bev
Maybe the second time posting will be the charm - here's my view:
