These photos were taken over several different days at sunrise or just prior to sunset times highlighting the horse hair, stirred up dust and outlining them with that magic light of the day.
Photographed with Nikon D750 and Nikon D500 using Tamron Ultra Wide 10-24 mm, Tamron 28-300mm and Tamron 70-200 G2 2.8 lenses.
These are just wonderful. Love them all.
Thank you. Always great photo opportunities everyday when I am there. A great daily 4-5 hours of tranquil therapy.
Spectacular results. I know the effort and timing it must take to accomplish this.
The lighting makes the scenes very different. Well done.
Arizona, I assume? I went there and shot a few very bad shots. These are much better. What an amazing thing to see...wild horses. For an odd ball tie in, consider reading the Empire of the Summer Moon.

Very creative. Nice shots! Gary
Thank you. An amazing time of day.
Yes, Arizona. These horses have seen me so many time, I believe they pose for me at times. So exciting every time to be in their midst with them all around me. When they begin to run and stampede, it is run for a tree time. Big rush.
Yes, patience in between the excitement but when it breaks, it is a full blown photo frenzy.

OK I'll be the bad guy. You are relatively new with only 34 posts, but pictures should be posted to the Gallery and not the main discussion group. If the Administrator sees them here he will move them to the Gallery.
Beautiful images. Love the lighting
Im glad it is here lest I would have missed it. I supposed I should take a look at the gallery once in a while.
Epic reportage... fabulous use of ambient... truly an exercise in painting with light...
And as always a pivotal component of stellar photographic illustration is intimate subject knowledge...
NikonianMan you are truly a master of the craft... Thank you so much for sharing your amazing artistry.
So poignant... so enigmatic... so beautifully done...
And a big shout out to Hernán Cortés who brought the first horses to the Americas in 1519.

If you don't check out the Photo Gallery or any of the other forums where images are allowed, then you are missing out on a lot of really good stuff. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
