I can not believe the amount of people who have also determined the guilt of the offices involved. Even changing the word murder to killed is blatant proof of it. I've watched all of the testimony so far given (which has come from the prosecutor's side) and guilt certainly has not been established yet. Even the EMT stated she would not do mouth to mouth resuscitation. This event occurred during the height of the covid19 epidemic. I thought the above posters were demanding justice. Your comments sound like your preparing to hand the rope. I personally know the area where this happened and it's full of drug dealers, pimps, and prostitutes. The cops in that area deal with those people all the time (as well as with respectable people). It's too early to call a verdict.

If you have been sworn in as a member of the jury, you are obligated to withhold judgement until the conclusion of the trial and limit your verdict to the evidence admitted during the trial.

If you are not on the jury, you are free to base your decision on whatever information you find credible, at what ever time you are persuaded as to the defendant's culpability.

I’ve already seen this story too many times so I wouldn’t be surprised if it went either way my point is , think about all the other George Floyd’s that didn’t get televised. I’m two steps ahead of the game and I also grew up in Washington DC, Chocolate city and West Virginia where I was the only black kid in my class. My point is I work directly for JC and I follow no man. My judgement was guilty from the jump. Either way evil and terror is going to feel defeated sooner and just us speaking this is light. I only do art that gets to my heart and i do art for the people the people want justice. My views don’t apply to the art when I already know the outcome of the bigger plan which is going to be a victory, whether it’s today or in the future. 💯💯💯🌟🌟🌟

I honestly don’t watch much TV and I am a true introvert. I won’t jump into a serious subject like George until I was ready. Well now is the time . My public relations manager called me the other night, her being a white woman from West Virginia, she doesn’t quite understand what it’s like to deal with racism as a black man and how traumatized we are. She told me if the Floyd team loses this case she’s going to go protest. I had to calm her down and let her know that the war is one in small victories so don’t get so outraged that you end up hurt or doing something that can’t be reversed. The fight is won with the mind and heart and I am the leader of the war. My art is honest and true. Feel free to leave any comment or express your thoughts. Nothing I mean nothing has not been said to me so feel free to fire off if you disagree. I love the police and I love being black. Both are needed in the community but we have to work together to change the violent patterns that are portrayed. RIP Mr Floyd.

Since this appears to be your first venture into the attic, I feel compelled to ask what brought you.

It fits per the section rules. Why are you asking BigCed0814 or do you ask everyone who posts here for the first time?

Haha. I stirred the pot today. I have been on UHH for awhile now. I’ve already been told in private messages that this forum is not the best place to speak of BLM or anything like that . I said to myself perfect place for me to venture. My duty and I love this forum for the raw fact I can drop one post and it brings the Calvary out. It’s my duty to bring awareness to my culture and make people think.

When they have been on UHH for years and this is their first post in the attic I sometimes do. Any particular reason you are intercepting posts to him?

Very well said.

You certainly have my respect (but you had that before I read your post).

I am going to predict a not guilty verdict based on the amount of illegal drugs in Floyd's system.

I don't need to be instructed about my rights to come to a hasty decision regarding a legal issue. As a one time attorney you should have enough experience to know the verdict will not be determined until ALL of the evidence is heard. I'm saddened by so many people calling for justice for Mr. Floyd and not any concern for justice for the four officers. The trial will end in one of three ways. A guilty verdict, a not guilty verdict, or a hung jury. The real question will be, will the public accept the verdict. I have my doubts.

I hope you are not correct. Floyd was functional and their handling of the situation was abysmal. At the very worst, it could be a hung jury but I think the use of fatal force was totally unnecessary.... it was a $20 bill.

It was minor until the first two officers approached Mr. Floyd in his car and Mr. Floyd failed to cooperate. It was serious enough for one of the officers to pull his service gun and order Mr. Floyd to show his hands. That's when things began to escalate. We'll see what happens as the clock ticks away and other witnesses testify. That's why people should allow our system of justice to determine guilt. And that includes news organizations, community activist, payed so called ministers, and politicians including President Biden. The trial will determine justice for both Mr. Floyd and the officers.
